I am getting new pop up notices in Chrome that flash will no longer work after December 2020. I sure hope you guys are not going to wait to the last minute on fixing this problem.
100% Accurate. As it stands now you have to go into the back end settings just to get flash to put into the approved group for the cameras. Got to be a better way.
Hi all, thanks so much for all your good suggestions and ideas. We will collect and forward all your great ideas to our senior engineer for future development.
They say this alot, but never seem to act on anything said. API Documentation, a must. HTML5 Support (or a Flash Replacement) a Must.
Sorry for the inconvenience. The flash will not be maintained or preserved soon. But it still can use. Our senior engineers are working on it and try to find a better way for this issue.I will forward your suggestion to R&D engineers. It will take time to do it. So in order to use we are going to have to jump through hoops to back end install flash and open our computers and phones to un-necessary security risks because flash still has not been replaced with this system. Very disappointing to hear.I was hopeful when I researched this camera system, and seen a post where it said cameras will have an update in 2019 to support html 5, but sounds like that is not the case.
I Just bought a setup, and been doing alot of reading. Most the posts ive seen are from early/mid 2018 saying that "next year" (2019) for HTML5 support. I would hope this is a #1 priority. As most browsers are now blocking Flash. I dont have my setup just yet. But just curious to if there has been any progress towards HTML5.
