More info:https://ausdroid.net/2019/03/29/google-assistant-integration-testers-wanted-by-reolink/If somebody test it, i would like to ask something:What google home voice commands able to use?I really hope that the following is available:- Start record - Send email (with screenshot)PS: if the above commands is avaliable, a new world is opening with home automatization (with Reolink Argus family)! Really easy to expand the Reolink cameras range with more PIR sensors (the video quality is mutch better, with the PIR range...)It possible to integrate cameras to Domoticz and other home automation software (https://[censored]/dnpwwo/Domoticz-Google-Plugin)I really hope that this new feature is avaliable as soon as! (..and not only US+Australia, but also rest of the world!)
suto: unfortunately I don’t have any details about the Argus as I don’t own any. Also unfortunately I’ve been unsuccessful in my ultimate goal of finding a page that simply tells if the camera has recently detected motion. Seems like such a basic function that is addressed simply in many of the access methods, but alas I haven’t been able to find a way to query it.
My goal is really simple. I would like a option/API/trigger/IFTTT... ANYTHING to send my Argus 2 camera to start recording and/or take a picture.I ask the support many times and the latest conversation, they said that they plan to use IFTTT at 2th quarter of 2019... I hope it is true. (but it not mean that the necessary action will be avalaible)
This api calls working with Argus series? I try some, but no success...
Yes, pelase add official Linux client (Support Argus cameras), that work with command line mode. It is very important feature!
Hello there! I saw that you sell new Reolink Keen camera. If i read correctly, you add this camera a external PIR sensor! It is really great, but my question is that in the future do you not sell this device it alone? ...and it possible do to compatible it with argus2 cameras! It really expand the argus2 funtionality! (the camera is "see" clear picture much longer distance, that built-in pir sensor is sense....)
My guess? I think they would like to create the online services themself and earn a few $$ doing so instead of integrating it with other services.
It not a "guess" it is the Truth! I send a mail to support and they said exactly same thing: "Thanks for contacting us and this is Justina from Reolink Support Team.By far Argus 2 doesn't have such plan to work with home automaion system.Next year we do have plans to work with home automaion system.Once available, we will release on our website.Thank you for your great idea."It shame...
Hello there,Please add a option to send a signal to camera (Argus 2, with solar panel) to start recording. I read a lot of, that you dont want to enable RTSP or any third party software. I understand, But, it would be great that we able to send a trigger, to start a recording. I think it enought that we set the official time (8, 15, 30 sec) to record. It would be great that it is a "cross platform" solution (a little api, or a web based thing etc..)If you think that is "to risky" (it decrease battery...) you able to create limitations (like it accept trigger only minimum bettween 5 minute differernce, or something similar...)The reason: The camera Quality is very good, but the motion detection range is very limited... we see much longer that the PIR sensor "see" it. If you do that i wrote it, we able to install more PIR sensors (covered a muck bigger area) and configure a script or something similar to send a signal to Argus 2 to start recording.
