Have now tested with another usb cable and it works perfect
So where must have been a failure in the first i tried with....
Have one camera connected with a powersupply 5V/700 mAH and it seems to work okay. Do you think one should use powersupply with higher Ampere like the one you have tested with?

I have tried to connect a 5V/2000mAH Power supply to the hidden USB port, but nothing happens
The camera dont react at all. Did you do anything else?
Or could it be that they changed the new series of cameras? (I got mine delivered in June 2017)
