I still would like to have this requested feature. I notice support for H.265 is quite bad (e.g. in chrome browser, but also for example in frigate), so it would be beneficial to have an option in the camera config to choose between the two and have the user decide based on the needs. Another possibility that would also work for me would be the support for a RTMP (main) stream with better quality. My Reolink 842 only supports ext RTMP steam with max 896x512 resolution.

+1 on this one, just started to integrate my new Reolink cameras in HomeAssistant, cant believe something simple as this is not supported, big disappointment
