@joseph_1979 For me it works as well in iOS applications not only in android apps
@joseph_1979 Hi,thanks for the scene information. I did create two scenes one to enable and one to disable Reolink cameras, etc.So that is good at least I can do what I want much faster using the scenesBut in the Alexa app when I click discover Scenes, the Reolink scenes are not discovered, so there is no way to use Alexa voice commands to execute a scene, as I do for other devices that have scenes. So the Reolink Skill for Alexa is quite limited.maybe this could be improved in the future….
I have a cottage and go there once in a while. I have friends coming with cars, with kids, they play in the yard, we eat outside, etc. I have 5 Reolink cameras and it’s a pain to go to settings and disable the notifications for each camera when I get there, then to reenable them when I leave….. if I don’t forget.BTW there is no way to set a private area… - I would suggest to Reolink developers the following (a very very simple to implement in their app):Most of us use Alexa or Google. Wouldn’t be nice to have one global parameter in the Reolink app, let’s call it Enable/Disable all Alarms and Recording, or Pause Alarms and Recording. This global parameter could be switched on of off by an Alexa or Google voice command. Alexa Enable / Disable Reolink Alarms.I could do this from my car on my way there. How are you guys doing this? Isn’t this a pain? Do you back me up on this?Should we propose this to Reolink?
@md I have the RLC-833a, and I already set the sensitivity for motion to the lowest value (1)
Why can’t they create the option to disable motion detection completely and live just person and vehicle detection?
i have numerous motion alarms, when checking the recording I can see insects flying in view field of the camera at night that are illuminated by the IR Also at night when wind and rain blow it is illuminated by the IR and generate a motion alarm.I already reduced the motion sensitivity to 0.Any idea how to get rid of that? It’s quite annoying
