Just set up a RLC-823A and so far the auto tracking and alerting works as expected.
I have the "Time to stop tracking" settings set to 60 seconds for both stops and dissapears.

So if a person drives a car up my driveway, parks it and get out of the car, he has 60 seconds to get out of view of the camera.
Could it be possible to prioritize objects auto tracking, so a person trumphs a vehicle?
