I completely agree with you, Rob. Having a software-based NVR solution from Reolink that works on Linux or Windows would be a game-changer. Being able to use advanced motion detection features like person/car filtering without relying on proprietary hardware would add so much flexibility for power users. Really hope Reolink considers this seriously!
