For only running the camera for monitoring during daylight hours powered by an external solar+battery setup, would be nice to have an 'off' during nighttime, 'on' during daytime option or ONVIF method of reducing power consumption as low as possible(maybe something less than 1/2 watt) to save battery power during times when the camera isn't needed. For the time being I am going to try running an external 12volt photocell switch to power the camera on/off with the daylight.
Dear Reolink,I love your cameras, but please add ONVIF access to your battery cameras the same as all your other cameras. Or at a minimum a way to take snapshots, say once every 10 minutes and access them via an API without having to manually use app. I know the response will be 'sorry hardware limitation' polite as always. I'd like to spend 30K on Reolink cameras to be used on environmental sensoring and sampling, but myself and many other users won't buy these battery cameras until they support ONVIF.Thanks,A would be battery+solar camera buyer
