Lets say User1 is given access to certain cameras, Cam 1, 3 and 4. Now whoever logs in as User1 sees Cam1, 3 and 4, no matter the location of the physical camera. I know what you are saying the camera's physical location can be in different networks (as in 5 different houses). The cams per account (User1) can be connected to, based on the UIDs and the user can be authenticated via the Username/ Password. Now this can be weird also because that User1 will have to be a globally unique entity.Scenario: My family member in UK can now see the cam in our house in USA. How can this be possible ? UID and User account I am just wishful thinking I guess
I have a situation. When I first bought the cameras, i added all family members' mobile devices with the default admin account. As I looked into the settings later on, I realized admins can change settings, which i didn't want everyone to have privileges to do so. So I created a non-admin User1. I changed the admin password, so only I know the admin password and only I should be able to change the settings, sounds weird but I am the only tech savvy person Now the problem is:-
What I am trying to do is:-1- Keep admin account for myself, so no one else can change settings for cameras.2- Connect all family members to User1, they can see cameras but not change settings. So far this is not being accomplished.
