The big advantage of the web interface:
To use your cam you don't need to download anything to your smartphone! Its so easy!
Little disadvantage of the web interface: It doesn't work!
Reason: Flash! (used within the web interface, to show flv-streams)
Smartphones don't use flash anymore. They use html5.
My suggestion for the web interface: Take html5
