Hi,I have a pair of RLC-410W. I recently upgraded to firmware v3.0.0.2356_23062002. Ever since the upgrade, the night time quality is really bad. Unusable. I couldn't understand why, until I realized the "3D DNR" setting is gone. When I bought the camera, one of the main reasons is for 3D DNR. It's not right that you took this feature away. Can I get back 3D DNR in a new firmware update please? Or, can I download the my old firmware to get it back please? You can see from my comment history that I am a very happy and positive customer. Also, I was thinking of buying a pair of RLC-520WA, but if Reolink chooses to not support products, and their products lose features, then they will lose me as a customer. We had some night time package thefts, so 3D DNR is a feature we miss. Thank you for your help.
I just wanted to say that I appreciate Reolink has been updating its software.I have an old Reolink RLC-410W. Over the years, I appreciated the client updates so much, that caused me to I buy a couple cameras for my sister a few years ago.Last week, I finally got around to installing new firmware, and was pleasantly surprised by the HTML5 update. I use HTML5 with Chrome. In Chrome, I have a video speed controller extension that allows me to speed the video at 16X. It actually allows me to scrub/speed my RLC-410W at clear quality at 16X without frame skips! The iOS app and macOS stil doesn't run at 16X that well, but it works BEAUTIFULLY in the browser! The new Reolink update really breathes new life into this old device. I like it so much that I'm going to buy another Reolink for my backyard. Good job Reolink. I want you to know that your software team is doing a great job. If you keep up the good work, I'll keep buying new Reolink devices.By the way, when I'm using the RLC-410W with iOS and macOS app, when I set Fluent playback on 8X, it often completely skips over a chunk of video (5minutes). I have to click back the section, or play it back at 1X.Also, it would be nice if the app can play Fluent 16X. The browser can play Fluent+Clear 16X soooo smoothly, it would be amazing if the native application could play like that. That's all. Thank you to the great software devs. Keep up the good work, guys.Keep up the good work!
I bought a Reolink 410W (outdoor) last year and was decently pleased with it. A few months later, I bought a Eufy Solo (indoor). In the past year, I've been seeing a strong difference between the two. The video quality on my Reolink is better than my Eufy. Both the apps to control the camera (MacOS/iOS) are better for my Reolink than my Eufy. After using both for about a year, I just recently updated the app on MacOS, and I REALLY like the improvements you guys made. It used to be: open the app, then "drag & drop" the camera to the video, open the small dialog to scroll through the timeline, go back to the main window to change to 8X playback, etc. It used to be kind of annoying, but I built up the muscle memory. But in the new app update, I just open the app, and the camera is selected, and I can "scrub" and change playback on the main window. FREAKING SWEET. My Eufy still sucks and is still clunky to use.I really love companies that support their products. I just bought 2 more Reolinks for my sister: Another Reolink 410W and a Lumus. This is how you build a good brand. Good job folks. I'm now a loyal Reolink customer (it took me a year to realize it). Happy holidays.
