I also tried the Logitech M185 without success. It moved the cursor about an inch then quit working. I have not been able to get it to work and even tried rebooting the system with the dongle attached and firmware updates. Does anyone know how to get it to work or which mouse has the best success rate. This seems like an oversight that should have been included functionality for those of us who have the device in a discrete location.
Hey everyone, I just installed the RLN8-410 POE unit, 4 RLC-420 4MP,and 3 RLC-420 5MP cameras using Cat6 23/4 cable throughout and all Cat6 ends. I know with POE the device is going to get warm but I took some thermal readings earlier midday in Florida heat and the cameras were anywhere from 102-113F (roughly 12-23 above ambient). Is this within the normal operating temperatures for the devices? I have not been able to find any information on the thermal limits of the cameras and normal operating temperatures. Similarly, does doing video preview from the unit itself heat up the cameras any more than normal operation? Any input is appreciated. Cheers!
Just got my RLC-420 and it came with 18060901. However, I did notice that the firmware update tool will only accept a *.IPC_51316M extension file also and not the *.PAK file extension.
Hi Rick, same thing here. So are we to change the file extension from .pak to .IPC_51316M? I went to update my cameras with the IPC_3816M.1389_18081400.RLC-420.ov4689.4MP.REOLINK.pak update and each time it stated update failed.
