So I've got reolink 511wa and a bit of a situation.
I've set it up and wanted to assign it a static IP. It was working fine via DHCP. The new IP is on the same Wi-Fi & subnet that's working perfectly fine for other cameras and it's free. After setting the IP to static, it connects to the network (using the correct IP), but is not available any more on none of the ports. Not in the app, not via browser.
So there I am, climbing around to re-connect a network cable to a laptop... And there seems no way to change the DHCP settings because all you see in the web UI are the settings for the ethernet adapter. I tried a hard reset - it still seems to retain the old network settings even after a reset. Even tried flashing the firmware. To no avail. The camera seems to store the network settings elsewhere.
Any ideas? I'll be going on a vacation next week and don't have time to return the camera and wait for a new one to arrive...
And what the hell is that product design?? How can you NOT think of a having a configuration for wi-fi AND ethernet? Or not reset the network config...
Thanks for any help!
