After having multiple 20 +attempts at car theft and house invasion. What i have found is that battery cams need a separate PIR trigger to wake up the cameras 1 to 2 mins before the event. May not seem long but dosen't take that long to bust a car window or jump a fence. Just something that could be in a fake rock or a fence post. Just something to say "HEY ! BATTERY CAM WAKE UP start recording for at least 5 mins for an event"

@shanemartyn86_491151311667373 Hi Shane, thank you for the suggestion. We don't plan to release any battery cameras with separate PIR sensors soon. But we do plan to add a pre-alarm feature to the battery cameras with smart person/vehicle detection, including Argus 3 (4MP), Argus 3 Pro, Argus PT 2K, Go Plus, and Go PT Plus. With this feature, users will be notified once the camera detects motion events.

However, it is not possible to wake up the camera 1 to 2 mins, or even 5 mins before an event. In your case, it is best to use a camera that records 24/7 instead. Hope this helps.
