I have purchased the recommended SIM card (FreedonPop) and inserted it into my phone. I was able to call another phone using this new SIM number as well as send a text. It seemed to work for data as well as I could load the FreedomPop web page with the WiFI off. I added the my_custom_apn.txt to the FAT32 128GB SDcard. I followed this instruction:https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009537014-How-to-Import-APN-Information-to-Reolink-Go-I used all lower case and added the APN name of "ereseller" as recommended here: https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012407054-How-to-Choose-SIM-Card-in-USIf I reset the camera after the red LED goes out it will reboot and say the APN has successfully been added. It then continues and flashes blue quickly and goes out. Then it announces that the cellular data is not available or the APN setting is not imported. I have tried 100's of combinations it seems but nothing is working. I have tried a second SIM card with TruPhone and it acts the same way. What am I doing wrong?
Not sure what changed but I reformatted the SDCARD for FAT32 (128G card) and added the my_custom_apn.txt file. apn=ERESELLERusername=password=For the FredomPop SIM this was the recommended settings. I did this previously but the SDCARD did have some prior capture information in a directory as well. Perhaps with it empty except for this one file helped? I re-started with the battery and attempted to restart it with the reset button in the side. Seems like it's ignored until the red LED goes out and starts to blink blue. Still would fail. I decided to hook the power charger up to the camera along with the battery and then it re-started and actually connected. I finished the configuration with the APP and it's online now. Just trying to set it up for alerts now.
