Codec RLC-810A

Hello, it is currently impossible to modify the codec of the clear stream of an RLC-810A camera, it is currently in H.265 and I would like to switch it to H.264 to have the same codec as the fluent stream in H.264 for synology SS.
Do you have a solution? a firmware update to be able to select the codec is possible?0View 0 replies-
Hi @geofale, I am sorry that you cannot change the codec of the mainstream to H.264 now. And we don't plan to release a firmware update to allow users to select the code as well.
At this moment, you may select sub-stream and the camera codec will be changed to H.264. Hope this helps.

Well maybe Reolink should look into making their camera compatible with such a widespread application as Synology. The Amcrest camera sitting on my desk works better with SSS than the 10 Reolinks I have installed prob because of configuration options to feed something other than the full clear stream as the only option.
The two unopened Reolinks on my desk are headed for ebay!
