Hi,I can't seem to find an iPad version of the reolink app. Is there one, or will there be?(I was able to eventually install the iPhone version onto the iPad but it's not a great experience...)ThanksJoseph
Hello Joseph,Thanks for requesting information about our products.Currently there is no app for iPad, you could only install the IOS app(iPhone version) on your iPad.When the app is installed on iPad, the camera will not be automatically added, you'll need to scan the QR code manually. We will forward this request to our R&D department, if there is any update, we will let you know.Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
+1 for iPad app as well as AppleTV app.
I don't think they work it out yet, maybe should wait a little longer hope Reolink at least scheduled this request...
Hi all,We have forwarded this request to our R&D for an assessment, any plans and updates on it we will keep you informed via email.Thank you for your support.
I received the RLN8410 yesterday from Amazon. The unit works extremely well with the Iphone and Macbook Pro.And then I tried it with the Ipad (only app is the Iphone app). Extremely disappointed and totally stunned that the developers of such a great unit can't figure out how to make an Ipad app that works. You can't view the system with the Ipad clearly. You developed such a great system, WHY give the customers a reason NOT to buy your product. Really, what's the problem?I guess I'll send it back.
This is now somewhat of an issue for Swann customers as at least one Swann (http://www.swann.com) is a rebadged/OEM version of a Reolink DVR. Swann provided SwannviewLink - a poor but useable iPad app that did the job. That app is 32-bit and hasn't been updated in a long time. As of iOS 11, the upcoming iOS release, it won't work as Apple are supporting 64-bit apps (like Reolink on the iPhone).Seems odd not to have a duo iPhone/iPad app in this arena. Please add one - running Reolink on an iPad is a pain and just looks odd.
I ageee an iPad app is needed. An AppleTV app would be great!
It's under way. But it could take some time. Thank you all for your patience
