Hi,
I have several cameras that look at a scene from different angles. Now I noticed that when an alarm was triggered by one camera, whether person or vehicle, it not necessarily triggered the alarm also on the other camera, maybe because of sensitivity settings, distance, object size, whatever...
Personally I would find it very useful if you could link some cameras together, so if one registers an alarm it can tell the other camera to record also. Two viewing angles = better identification of intruder or whatever.
That should not be a big issue in the same network, as the app for example can register cameras in the same network, so cameras could surely do the same. Or give the opportunity to put in specific IP adresses of linked cameras.
Or maybe some kind of "broadcast" the camera sends to the local network and other devices can react. This maybe would also be helpful for an app notification on e.g. mobile phones if you use your cameras only within a local network or with VPN.
So that's my wishlistReply QuoteShare6- Share this Post

This would be great!
addition: If each of the PTZ cameras know the direction (compass based) of the motion (tracking direction) then this maybe could be broadcasted to other ptz cameras so all point to the "intruder" for example...
(but I understand, this will give a big thing on configuring cameras and will be only possible by professionals / technicians...)

Thanks for this
