I have a RLK16-810B8-a system which came with the 810A cameras. I am going to add another camera to the system and I'm wondering is there any difference between the stick style 810 as opposed to the ball turret style 820 other than the mount?

As you can read from one of my other posts I had a mount failure on only 1 out of my 8 cameras but still that makes me a little hesitant to buy another one with the same kind of mount. I'm wondering if the ball style mount is better?

So other than the mount are they the same? Is the ball mount better/stronger? Anyone here have both? Can I add the 820 to my system with no problems?

@reocam_448003255267488 you can add the 820A to your system just fine. The only difference is it being a turret form instead of a bullet.

As for the mounts; I have both an 810A and 820A running here, both are holding up perfectly fine. Not sure how yours failed, but it might be one that had a defect or something.

Edit: there is no fastening system on the 820A. So anyone could rotate it if its within reach. But if it's strategically positioned, I wouldn't mind that. Guess it's not such a big deal either since the 810A can just be rotated away too using a bit of force.
