      Hello,

I have an Argus 3 pro setup and have the following configuration:

      • PIR set to off
      • Status LED on
      • Infrared Lights set to Auto
      • Spotlight set to Auto On for Live View

Last night when I laid down in bed, I looked over the status led was blue and I could see the infrared lights on. This happened even though PIR was set to off. If someone had hacked my camera, i would expect the spotlight to turn on as well. So my question is, it is possible that my camera has been compromised? The lights stayed on for a few seconds and then went off. It happened again this morning as I was about to get in the shower. I updated my account password to 25 characters and rebooted the camera. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Just an FYI, I changed ISP's and again this morning this has happened again even after I have taken multiple security measures. Right as I'm walking from the shower to my bedroom the camera turns on like it's in "Live View" mode by itself. Not sure these cameras are worth the trouble.

@user_587819347165194_587819347165194 Please change the password to a lengthy strong one and ensure that the camera is not shared by anybody. Is the status led continuously blue ir red? If red there is a wifi issue. If blue either someone is accessing the camera or PIR detected motion. Disable PIR from sensor option and not through schedule. Observe again and let me know the outcome. Note that I have proposed various security options to implement on cameras, one of which is the logging of remote IPs with timestamps.

Note that in Standby mode the status LED blinks in blue every 20s. This is normal operation.

Other option is to monitor the egress and ingress traffic on the WAN of your BB router using Wireshark. But you need to be a bit technical for this. Changing ISP will not help.
