    Not sure I'm doing motion right

      First, apologies if this is something that I'm posting in the wrong area or can be found elsewhere, I tried looking for it but couldn't find it anywhere.

      Anyhow I just setup a RLN8-410 DVR with a few cameras and I'm either having issues configuring motion or searching for motion, I'm not even really sure which. I tried to follow a few of the videos online but they don't exactly match the interface I'm seeing on the DVR via the web interface (I'm running firmware version v3.0.0.200_22081500). Anyhow I have 3 cameras setup currently and all 3 of them in playback I just have a solid light blue bar. Does this mean motion is no configured properly so I'm not seeing any motion? Or does it mean motion is triggered constantly? I've tried different motion settings, sensitivity levels, etc. on all 3 cameras and never get any different results.

          If you enable the continuous recording of the camera, you will only see the continuous recording on the web. The motion recording is included but it will not mark on the line.

          If you want to view the motion recording only, you can disable the continuous recording and view and set up the motion recording schedule.

          If you want to view the motion recording mark on the line, you can playback the videos on our PC Client. App & Client - Reolink

          Setting->Surveillance->Record->Schedule

          Ok, thanks for the reply. This was setup for my daughter at her house and they primarily just want to use the app on their phones and want to be able to do the following from that app:

          Pull up live view of the cameras.
          Get alerts of motion.
          View motion recordings.

          So what settings would I want to best accomplish this?

              1. Set up a motion recording schedule.

              2. Set up push notifications

              3. If you want to playback in the APP, you need to insert an SD card in the camera.
