Depth of field of the RLC-822A abismal vs oldie RLC-420

Just bought an RLC-822A-8MP,
Compared to my old RLC-420-5MP, the depth of field is abismal, is this normal?

@kaustik66_100281706180806 The field of view specs for the 822a 8MP are not the same as the 420. Plus the 822a has optical zoom. Have you tried zooming in/out? Different cams can have different fields of view, depending on sensor size, resolution, etc. Reolink provides the field of view specs in their descriptions.
