I started to set up my two Duo 2 Wifi cameras, and to my surprise they seem to be unsupported by the reolink cloud (the app says I haven't installed any cloud compatible cameras).

EDIT: Is this really true? Or is the reolink cloud support coming soon?

Does this mean I have to have an NVR to be able to access the cameras remotely?

You can use a micro sd card for recording and access it remotely. It supports up to 256GB micro sd card. I like to use sd card because it is cheap to replace and yet very reliable. Also, I don't need to deal with NVR related issues, power consumption, fan noise, etc.

If the camera is stolen, so is the sd card.
I really want a non local storage. If all your internet access points are behind cgnat, you have to rely on cloud solutions if some kind.

@user_602724781011001_602724781011001 Moreover you can transfer the mp4 files to a remote ftp server by using the FTP or FTPS feature. CGNAT are normally implemented on PGW (mobile packet core gateway) and it should not present major issues as the camera at regular intervals communicates with the P2P server to update the IP/Port based on UID. What you may experience is sometimes you are unable to communicate with the camera (literally minimal). On packet mobile core data session normally terminates after 12 hours (depends on operator's choice) and there is no guarantee that the same public IP is assigned by the PGW during the re-establishment of the new session. But if this is so the camera at regular interval communicates with Reolink P2P server which gets the new IP/port if it did change.

How do I set up an FTP server behind CGNAT?
I did write that ALL my internet access points are behind cgnat.
The cameras are at the summer house with fibre, cgnat. I have mobile internet as backup, cgnat.
My home has fibre and is behind cgnat.
My phone is also behind cgnat.

@user_602724781011001_602724781011001 Can you place the ftp server on the same LAN? And did you use DDNS on the ftp server and use the url on the ftp setup of the camera?
