I am trying to turn off infrared lights permanently on rlc-410w.
I don't want the infrared lights to switch on at night because there's enough light from external light sources and these lights interfere with the infrared lights.
I have already done lots of tests /settings with the Reolink helpdesk. We even installed a firmware newer than the one available to the large public.
But unfortunately the lights stay off for a while (couple of days most of the time) but then switch on again.
I don't want to check the setting every couple of days.
      Anyone any solution?

I have a RLC-410 cameras. I think this answer also applies to the W version. The RLC-410 doesn't have a configuration setting to turn off the IR LEDs. You'll either need to open the camera and modify the hardware or you'll need to apply tape on the outside of the camera to mask the light from the LEDs. Another option would be to change to a newer camera model that does allow the LEDs to be disabled by a configuration setting.

Correct. I actually did this on my first RLC-410W camera. (Covered the LEDs with black electrical tape. Looked horrible. Was "mostly effective.") My original problem was the camera IR LEDs attracting insects which created very bright, relatively large, spots on the image which triggered recordings.

My solution was to (1) install a separate IR light about 8 ft away from the camera (which drew the bugs "over there") and (2) cover the IR LEDs on the camera with electrical tape. When the 5MP cameras came out, I replaced the RLC-410 with a RLC-510WA which has the ability to disable the LEDs.
