The cameras are connected to the computer and added to the Reolink Client (v. 8.8.2). Everything works on the smartphone app. I wanted to watch cameras remotely on another computer. I installed Reolink Client on another computer and tried to add cameras via UID. The application wrote a connection error.
How to watch cameras over the Internet on Reolik Client connected to another computer?

@user_594027275649135_594027275649135 You should add them through UID. Ensure you have Internet connectivity and there is no firewall in 2nd pc.

Everything works fine in Reolink Client fro PC v. 7.2.2.33. Cameras are added by UID. And in version 8.8.2 nothing is added. Internet connection and firewall settings do not change. Why, then, in version 7.2.2.33, adding cameras works, but not in version 8.8.2?

@user_594027275649135_594027275649135 When you stated that you want to watch camera remotely from another computer, is this computer on the same network or behind a FW? Can this computer be connected to the same network on which the cameras are connected and try to add them? I never had any issue to add cameras on PCs and smartphones.

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 No. The another computer is on a completely different network. Cameras are connected at my work. And I want to watch at home what is happening at my work. Accordingly, the other computer is my home PC. I install two versions of the application on my home computer. On Reolink Client v 7.2.2.33, cameras are added via UID, and on Reolink Client v 8.8.2, when adding, it writes a connection error. On the same PC

@user_594027275649135_594027275649135 uninstall the reolink client you have on the home pc and download the 8.10beta. The link is provided in a topic 8.10beta.

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Installing version 8.10 beta did not solve the problem. Cameras are not added. Is this a bug in the application?

@user_594027275649135_594027275649135 I never encountered this in any client I have used so far including the 8.10beta. However, please note that if the cameras came as a kit....then you won't be able to add them using UID as this is not assigned during production. But you stated that you were able to add them using a very old Windows client. So there shouldn't be any issue with newer clients. Could be something left in the pc while installing and uninstalling. Try to uninstall it and delete the reolink folder under appl data/roaming. Did you try to watch the cam through the browser (cams not battery operated)? You need to activate http and use port forwarding on the router.
