I am anxiously waiting for the DUO Floodlight WiFi and have a question.. does the camera come with a power adapter like other WiFi camera that requires power outlet or it come in 3 bare wires that you typically see with floodlight? I hope it comes in bare wires as the reason to get the floodlight camera is to plug into the existing light fixture and avoid the need to use power outlet. Can you confirm?

@jedi2020_32727772450952 I'm wondering this too, did you ever find out?
I'm also wondering when it will arrive in the UK as the POE one is out for a few weeks now

@smarthaus_seb Power requirements is 12Vdc@1.7A, namely, a 12Vdc 24W power adapter. It shall be included with the camera.

@jedi2020_32727772450952 It would have made install much easier if the power adapter was built into the mount. I decided to bypass my previous floodlight ac power and run the power brick to the garage outlet due to this. Something simple turns into a project because of a design flaw. Also how does this camera not have wdr and exposure settings? That's insane

Thanks but this is the most ridiculous design choice by Reolink. The main application for this product would be to replace an existing Floodlight which has MAINS wiring to the external location. Nowhere has mains outlets even close to suitable camera/light locations and having to run a long wire to outside is out of the question for a clean and easy installation (the main benefit of a WiFi camera).

Eufy/Ring/Blink all have mains wired floodlight cameras. It would help if you at least offered an external AC-12V DC transformer and enclosure to bridge the gap but nothing official is available STILL. Very poor Reolink.

@smarthaus_seb 100 people most probably 100 opinion. Indeed I would have certainly included the transformer in the floodlight housing and all that should be required is the mains connectivity. This is what is being done on all the LED floodlights operating internally at low voltage. Maybe there is something that we are not seeing........perhaps an issue in the dc adapter could be a dc adapter replacement rather than the whole unit.
