Reolink keeps stopping (android 9)

hey all . . . within the past week, i can't open up the reolink app (ver 4.35.1.1) on my moto g6. i've reinstalled and tried just about everything i can think of, but nothing works. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?? thanks . . . john.

@hometheater503_202558512976108 This Android 9 pie is now 5 years old. Since then there were 5 major Android upgrades. Would you consider an Android upgrade? Most probably support will ask you to upgrade.

thanks for responding! unfortunately, i can't upgrade my phone anymore (that i know of), and a new phone is not really an option right now. thing is, i've got another android 9 motorola phone, and it works fine on there. also, i've got a tablet running android 8.1.0, and it works on there too. both are running reolink 4.35.1.1. can't do a reset of the phone either, since i've got some work things on there i need.
