Greetings, purchased this camera recently. On my 4 other Reolinks (520) I was getting this but found by turning off UID it stopped. To my surprise when I did this to the 842 it kept hitting my firewall as per the image. I then suspected NPT, it was logical as it was grabbing NPT from the net so I used the custom settings option to connect to my NAS NTP server. Things I have disabled: UID/ Email/ FTP/UPnP/DDNS. What am I missing?

@user_659735806574608_659735806574608 Those which belong to AWS/Microsoft Azure are used for P2P servers while the others are for NTP (time) eg stratum 2 phosphor burn net (to replace space by dot as it is not allowed to insert links)

Thanks for the reply. Still not clear as to why it would reach externally for NPT if i have pointed it to a network NAS to get NPT. From what I understand a stratum-2 server gets its time via NTP packet requests from a stratum-1 server.

@user_659735806574608_659735806574608 Yes, stratum 2 receives time from stratum 1 servers and then act as a server for stratum 3. This is widely used in Telcoms networks to synchronise various networks in particular those still using the SDH as interconnection. If I recall correctly this is specified in ITU-T standard G811. Once I have implemented a synchronisation network for an operator based on 2 Caesium clocks (Primary and secondary) as stratum 1. But in case of the camera they use the NTP protocol to get the time.
