is it Possable to use just and IP Address with Portforwarding only? and not p2P / UID the reason I ask is sometimes the p2p is slow and today the reolink systems p2P server went off line there needs to be a work around for this. I tried to delete a client and open the ports but it still fails to connect I am I know how to portforward a Firewall but what iam i doing wrong? I have used a lot of Alibi systems in the past that you port forward and they are fast and work evey time unless the internet is down. thank you in advanced very one.

@kdgordon44_313186798092489 Reolink has at least 8 P2P servers and the client forwards the request for each cam to all of them. They are located at different countries. So the issue was not actually the P2P servers but rather you had an issue with the DNS. If you are outside the cam network the client needs to query the P2P servers. Querying the P2P servers is quite fast.

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 You would think it would roll over to the next one if they have so many out there! I have almost 40 differnt clients on reolink systems and they all went down at they same time for almost an hour> and I have tried the portforwarding but it seem to fail as well. Not sure if you have to turn off the UID or not I tried to get them back up with portforwarding didnt work. I am network guy so I do know how to portforward my firewalls. So iam not 100% sure what is going on. but it is bad for customers.

Yes, it will interfere with the image, making the image not clear. If unfortunately, the data is also difficult to be verified by the agency.
