Hello, I have a RLC-410 which is advertised as being a 4MP model. However when the device is opened, you can see that the camera is marked as only 3MP. What gives ?Also, a mouse chewed through the cabling that is attached to the camera, am I able to get a replacement ? camera-Copy.jpg
Sorry the mark inside the camera may mislead you. The actual resolution is decided by the CPU chip in the camera. So no worries. Also, if the cable is bitten by mouse, it is not within warranty.
thank you for the reply and explanation. In regard to the cable, I knew it wouldn't be under warranty, I was just inquiring about a replacement part so that I could swap it out. I managed to solder replacement wire into place to repair the damaged section, so its back up and running now successfully anyway. thank you.
You are so welcome.
