I have this RLC-811A for around 1,5 year. Working fine until the day before yesterday. At around 11PM something was making a strange noise. I didn't know what it was, so I went for the hunt. After 10 minutes I found out what it was. I never heard this sound before. It was the noise and after the noise, it was quiet for 15-25 seconds. It was my RLC-811A. Because I wanted to sleep, I just pulled the network cable out op my POE+ switch (5 ports ZYXEL POE+ switch, 2 other Reolink camera's are connected with this switch). The next morning, working day, I went to my switch and I switched ports with another camera. The RLC-811A won't boot up, the other camera booted up without any problems. After 12-14 hours I plugged in the RLC-811A, I got a message from the app a new camera was detected (the RLC-811A), it received a factory reset, because everything was back to 0, except the SD card was not formatted. I installed the camera again with the settings from before and it kept on working untill a few minutes ago. The same noise from the same camera. I opened Reolink Client and the camera did not show any image. I made a sound clip that I uploaded to Files.fm:https://files.fm/u/fzzdxepxk#/view/j5gphx9hkLatest firmware: checkAnybody know what the problem might be?
Hope you opened a Support ticket with ReoLink. That is the setup "ding" noise. It seems like your camera has failed and is in a reboot loop. If as the other comment said about all the connections being clean then it is internal to the camera.
Thank you all for your answers. I sealed the network port, but not the reset button and power input. The camera is outside, but under a roof. It could be moisture indeed. The camera is still in warranty. I will see what the camera will do in the next few weeks and maybe contact Reolink support.
