Not sure if an update was pushed to the Reolink app, but now all the cameras are showing up smaller. I have tried to do the "Stretch" mode, but apparently that is not an option in App version 4.36.0.4.20230313.
Is there a way to get the cameras back to full mode?Reply QuoteShare3- Share this Post

@islandman63_201848685748477 With the newest release the stretch mode has been removed. So to get the stretch mode you need to go back to the previous version. There have been a lot of requests from members to have the stretch mode back and hopefully we shall see this as an option.

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 How do you go back to the older version of the IOS app
-
This makes no sense from a user experience perspective. A complete regression of functionality. Why? or have a missed the release notes to explain.
-
Not sure why stretch mode was removed. I guess I will be looking for the older version somewhere. Is there an official link to the previous version?

And if you try zooming in on your mobile device on a particular spot all goes to hell. Need to zoom and swipe and swipe and swipe to get to the right spot... seriously worst update ever. Soon I'll be installing hikvision cameras and returning all the reolink ones for "broken software, unusable".

Latest iOS app 4.36.2.3 fixed this zoom issue. -
@jedi2020_32727772450952
solve this problem of zoom, but the biggest problem remains: small view 4:3 of each camera. When they gonna solve this? Please: STRECH AGAIN.

Please reinstall the stretch button. The user experience has been degraded.

ReoLink App Version 4.36.1 - The ratio of the player interface changed to 1:1 in vertical mode was released around Mar 29, I opened a ticket up with ReoLink support that day. Apr 3 ReoLink App Version 4.36.2 was released very quickly with no fix, I was very disappointed.
Why is it taking so long to release a fix for this aspect ratio 1:1? Source control can back those changes out in seconds. other wise you should offer for IOS user TestFlight option. the support person offered .apk download why not TestFlight? or better yet fix the issue.
No one can say the new version looks better? Compare the two
Original Version: New Version: 4.36.2vs

Please add stretch mode back asap. Way too much of my camera feed image is filled with useless black space.

@user_603674336231435_603674336231435 Maybe shortly we shall have a new client and check this out. Perhaps by that time we get acquainted by the 1:1 aspect ratio :).

@joseph_1979
This is a shame, it looks like a design made by a child. Repost the strech button as soon as possible, so everyone can make the choice they want.

Come on Reolink! Why is this taking so long. Just fix this one thing and put out an update! Trust me, MANY more of your customers want this back and just haven't made it here to voice their opinions yet (like I finally did today). It is coming! This is, in my opinion, VERY POOR customer service. As some others have stated, this is regress, not progress.
