A very nice and handy feature would be the possibility to add Geofencing to the reolink App to automatically switch between Notification Scenes. Thanks in Advance !!

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 This should be a standard in ALL security cameras. It's not enough to just be able to control Email, Recording, and Push. I should be able to enable/disable motion detection all together, either through a scene, a schedule, or GeoLocation. Not just the reporting functions. This is frustrating for a camera that shows great promise in the security field. I also have a very difficult time getting these cameras to detect a person reliably in Home Assistant. I get motion fairly reliably but the person entity is almost useless. Either that or I am not getting the settings right. Very confusing to say the least.

@bob_659287768359038 If not ALL at least the new ones. But so far I didn't hear anything about when or if it will be implemented. They know their priorities and strategies. Cameras are great, however, they need to work more on functionalities so as to close the gap with their competitors. As for person detection I have no issue on RLC511WA, TrackMix and E1OD and ZOOM. However, I had an issue with DUO 2 WIFI person detection......... swinging hanging clothes were generating person detection alarms.....I have been working with support and this has been greatly improved through a firmware upgrade but not wholly eliminated.

Yes. I totally agree but it's important to note that these solutions may require some technical expertise and may not be compatible with all devices or setups.

reolink, this is a very simple feature but really needed if using many (solar powered) cameras. Specially in winter the recording while being at home is a waste of battery and the cameras in my area can not be active all winter long without extra charging.
this could be fixed if they would do noting at day when I’m at home.

One possible solution for this feature is to use a third-party app that supports geofencing and integrates with the Reolink App. For example, you could use an automation app like IFTTT (If This Then That) or Tasker to set up a geofence and trigger a scene change in the Reolink App.
