Just reset my Duo2, but saved Wifi Network was still there! How?

Hello.
I just did a hardware reset and when I went back into the web admin, my "Saved Wifi Network" was still there! How is this possible?
Either
(1) a cold reset does not really reset all settings, with the Wifi settings remaining stored.
or
(2) Reolink is storing Wifi settings on their own servers and bringing them back to the camera after a reset.

Both these scenarious are worrying, the second moreso.

Explanations please?

@user_704522064679100_704522064679100 Restoring/Resetting the camera will set the parameters to their default factory values with the exception of the WIFI settings. This is done purposely as otherwise you will have to bring down the camera and connect it to the router and set up the WIFI configuration..
