Keen ranger sim slot

Hello. ive been having this issue that the sim card slot on the keen ranger pt comes loose as its only a rubber cover.
Ive tried to put a piece of tape of different kind but it doesnt seem to be a long term solution as outside in the weather the tape eventually will come off.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

yeah. but they will replaced it but it seems it will be the exact same issue. the sim slot cover is too loose by design. so gorilla tape shpuld not be an option
