      Re: Reolink App Aspect Ratio
I noticed the change with the live view window being smaller a few months ago and this whole time I thought something was wrong with my phone (Android Note 20) or the Reolink app settings. I've been changing all sorts of settings on my phone and app thinking I messed up the view. Recently I even posted feedback on Google Play Store that the view change seems to be from an app update as it no longer fits to screen in landscape mode. The developers response was I needed to enable multi-view stretch which was already enabled. So I decided to search Google only to now find out that they did remove the full/fit to screen aspect ratio. Why would you change that? This small window view looks ridiculous.

Please change the aspect ratio back to the way it was for Android. I have the RLN8-410 NVR system with B400 & 500 series cameras.

@meika-meiks_380607826911372 I guess you have a 5MP camera. They have fixed the aspect ratio in the multiview but not for the single live view. Kindly send request to support.

Hello i can see your post

          1. Update the Reolink app: Ensure that you have the latest version of the Reolink app installed on your Android device. Developers often release updates that address compatibility issues and bug fixes.
          2. Check camera settings: Within the Reolink app, navigate to the camera settings and look for options related to aspect ratio or image display. Ensure that the correct aspect ratio is selected for your device's screen dimensions. You may also find options to adjust the resolution or image settings that could impact the aspect ratio.
          3. Clear app cache: Clearing the cache of the Reolink app can sometimes resolve issues with incorrect aspect ratios. To do this, go to the Settings menu on your Android device, find the Apps or Application Manager section, locate the Reolink app, and select the option to clear the app cache.
          4. Reinstall the app: If the issue persists, uninstall the Reolink app from your Android device and reinstall it from the Google Play Store. This can help resolve any potential software conflicts or glitches that may be causing the aspect ratio problem.

          Thanks and regards,
          JoyceSutherland

@joycesutherland Thanks for the prompt response.

            1. I've confirmed have the updated version. Still no change.

            2. Checked the camera settings. I don't see any options for "aspect ratio" or to change it in the app. Also tried viewing with different resolutions including Fluent/Balanced/High. Still no change.

            3. I've cleared the cache over a dozen times. Still no change.

            4. Tried uninstall/reinstall and still no change. Camera view is still a small square box.

Is it possible to roll back the updates to the point before it changed in the app?
