    RLC-411WS does not work with Reolink App past v8.8.5

      RLC-411WS does not work with Reolink app v8.8.11. Latest version of the Reolink App supporting this legacy camera RLC-411WS is v8.8.5.

      Current system Config:
      Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit
      Reolink v8.8.5
      NVR RLN8-410

      Issue: I have a Reolink RLN8-410 NVR (N2MB02) with two RLC-810A cameras. I have also added a RLC-410WS and a RLC-411WS cameras to the NVR streams. After the new Reolink App v8.11.0 update i can no longer view my RLC-410WS and RLC-411WS Wi-Fi Cameras. If i try to add them manually the app says it cannot locate the cameras and simply won't connect to them.

      If i downgrade to Reolink v8.8.5 app the RLC-410WS and RLC-411WS show imediatelly, without having to add them manually and i can view them no problem. I tried clean install of the Reolink App v8.11.0 and adding the cameras manually, but that does not work. I tried adding the cameras by the IP address with the correct port - that does not work either. I also tried ading the via the UID and that does not work.

      Any ideas on why these legacy RLC-410WS and RLC-411WS cameras wont work with v8.11.0 app?

          @dimitre-sarnov_385373657403624 Thank you for the feedback. May I know if the UIDs of your 411WS and 410WS cameras start with XCP?

          To improve software performance, we have developed a new Client framework since v8.10.4. However, the new framework may also bring connection issues for the XCP devices and the new Client due to hardware incompatibility. For the best security experience for your cameras, we recommend that you keep using Client v8.8.x or below. Hope this helps.

                @reolink-lorenz I dont need help getting the camera back online. Was disconnected purposly and is located in another country. What i need please is to get them to show in the latest App update if that is possible.

                  @dimitre-sarnov_385373657403624 As explained earlier, cameras with XCP UIDs work with Client version 8.8.x or below. We don't plan to get them to show in version 8.10 or above. Hope this helps.

                    I have the same issue. All my cameras stopped working after the update to the latest version of the windows app. The cameras are still working ok on ISPY. I had to restore a backup from last week to get the old app back.

                      @reolink-lorenz Thanks.Just to be clear you did not explain you had no plans to make the legacy cameras work in 8.10 and higher. This does not really help, but at least we know for a fact where we stand.
