RLN8-410, 411ws, and 411

Have these units, downloaded firmware off the website, tried to install and it fails, tried to unzip from folder and the nvr doesnt see the firmware. Please advise

NVR is following info

build 1609240
fw 2.0.0.4023-1322

cameras also fail to update, do i have to upload older firmware first? If so please show me where to get it.

sorry need to be more clear, i have tried to unzip the files from folder, as well as leave them zipped and unable to do anything, always fails or cant see files at all

Hi, how about you logging the NVR via Reolink Client and upgrade the NVR firmware via Reolink Client?
Also you can login the NVR via IE browser to perform the firmware upgrade.
After the NVR is upgraded, you can upgrade the cameras on the NVR. Give it a try

reolink client gives me no option to upload firmware, its just not there.

this was direct on the nvr itself, no luck. I have also tried via ie and still nothing

through reolink client and nvr no option to upload firmware

NVR >> Device Settings >> Maintenance >> Upgrade from Local, select the correct firmware for upgrade. Will it do?

Asking again after 6 days, how can I get this to update?

Again, no option available in settings to update firmware when in reolink client or in internet explorer.

Only have option on unit itself, when trying with your current firmware posted on website it fails right away.

Please advise how to fix this, and hire a few staff to help with customer service.

Hi, my fault. I've been extra busy and missed your message. I realized your NVR is running on very old firmware and it's not supported to upgrade on Reolink Client. So, as you stated, the only way to upgrade is through NVR itself, at least before you upgrade the NVR to newer version.
Please try another USB flash drive, and make sure you unzip the downloaded file. Use the ".pak" format file for upgrading. If you still fail at the process, my suggestions are 1. formatting your USB flash drive once (into FAT32) 2. trying another USB flash drive.

How would I go about updating the firmware for my Reolink NVR RLN4-410?
I have searched like crazy but I only found firmware for RLN8-410. Is this the same?...would I be able to use the same firmware?
