Hi,
I just installed a new Trackmix Poe, everything works fine at daytime but at night the detection of human and anything else stop working.
If I understood the detection is operated only on the wide view camera?
Because I have several tree and the passage area in the wide view image is very small, around 1/6th or less of the total. In the day it is enough, but at night it doesn't recognize anything. not even if I stay for long in the image. I even tried to turn on the spotlight, there isn't much difference with later hour of the day( which works normally) but it doesn't seem to work at all.
I tried upping all the sensibility to max, tried to mask the tree area, nothing worked.
Any help?Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@christian-brandoni_694834290954619 I have the same problem with my Trackmix PoE. During the day, it detects vehicles and people coming from a distance very well. However, at night, it hardly detects anything at all. I tried setting it to the most sensitive options at night, but it didn't detect a vehicle entering my driveway or a person getting out of a car. However, it detects a spider as if it were a human.
There is a significant improvement needed in night detection. -
@philippe I fully agree. They need to improve the object detection algorithm during the night. And sometimes during it generates false alerts as person detection. I have asked Reolink link about this.

@philippe I tried opening a support ticked, they already answered. Tonight I'll try to make a video, maybe they can have a look and see why it is not working.
You should do the same, the more not working samples they get the better they can improve night recognition. -
@christian-brandoni_694834290954619 Agree. I did forward mine a couple days ago. Send them in clear mode.
