Sine I upgraded both my RLC-422’s to:IPC_3816M.476_16111705.ov4689.4MP.AF.REOLINK_RLC-422The stream type in Encode is stuck on Fluent, Q720p what ever I change the settings to and save it reverts back on both cameras.See screenshotPlease advise.DG Screen-Shot-2016-12-10-at-07.49.20.png
When you select Fluent as Stream Type, the only option in Resolution will be Q720p, that's the reason why you can not modify it. The bitrate can be adjustable. But when you select Clear as Stream Type you will find you have several options to choose from.
Also, Q720p means one-quarter of 720p, which is 640*360p. So do mind that 720p≠Q720p. You can set 720p in Clear as Stream Type, but Q720p is in and only in Fluent as Stream Type.
Nope still reverts to Q720p, see screen recording. Compressed .mov Quicktimeclear_fluent-1.mov
Hi myreolinkSorry for the late reply.1, Settings in this "Encode" tab indicates reocording encode instead of live view streaming encode.2, You do not switch the stream type in "Encode" menu but check what is the current settings under "Fluent" and "Clear" stream when you only switch the "stream type" in "Encode" menu and make no changes on the settings.Refer to page14 of the user manual:
·Stream Type: choose the stream type you want to edit.·Clear(Main-Stream): the video feed that the Camera will record and display. This is the higher-quality stream.·Fluent(Sub-Stream): the video stream that the Camera will send to remote devices via a network or the Internet. It is the lower-quality stream as a reduction in video size makes it easier to send over a network.
Hello, was this ever resolved? I'm having the same issue. Set Clear mode to 4mp, system reboots camera loads then system reboots again and goes back to default 1080p.
Hi Erik, it shouldn't be that way. Would you care to contact our support for a little check?
I figured out the issue. My 3rd party NVR was overriding the Reolink cameras and downgrading to a resolution it was capable of. I'm having other issues now though. Is there a way to disable the second stream? My cameras keep going back and fourth from 4MP to Q780p, guessing this is because of my wifi signal. The second issue I'm having, 1 camera will not let me enable push. Keeps failing.
