      Never have I seen such lack of respect for a customer like this before. First they run ads in every corner of the app that every customer indirectly pays for when they buy Reolink products. And if you don't like that, they just relentlessly attack you for having that opinion and look for reasons to remove you. In this case the moderator was "threatened" by having his inappropriate conduct documented and reported to the company. Screenshotting public information is no different than video taping people in the public. Ironic isn't it?

          @user_788975327735961_788975327735961 Which Ads? I am running both Windows and Android clients and never saw any ad. Which version are you running?

            @joseph_1979

            Here are the ads I am referring to. In the menu bar there is always some kind of promotion in the bottom that can't be permanently removed. According to this post, there is also an "extended warranty" ad that appears in the main home screen. I also happen to find ads in software to be annoying, just as with unwanted telemarketer calls, email spam, and junk mail. Reolink cannot be considered a serious tech company if they continue to display these types of nuisances to their users like this.

              @user_788975327735961_788975327735961 Extend your warranty ... I don't have it. Just extend fir one camera and will disappear. And for the capture...I don't mind as long as it is their product. Its nice to know what is available. Whenever I open the application it goes to my main door camera and so I never see such ads.

                  The issue is not that I need to extend my warranty or not, but that there is content in the main view of an app that is used to control a paid product. That is the problem here. It is not acceptable for advertisements to be displayed (even when it is their product) for paid products/services. Every Reolink customer indirecly pays the development of the app, so this is certainly considered a paid service.

                  To put this into perspective, this would be like driving a $180,000 Tesla that pesters the user about upgrading their vehicle. If you want to send users notices such as these, use the proper communications channel like email where at least I can create inbox rules to filter out this type of unwanted interruption. The interface of an App is NOT the correct medium to send such offers!

                  It's easy to see that nowadays websites are stricter to ensure quality content. This can be easily seen to filter fake accounts. I see they are ensuring better security and quality content refreshes scratch games

                       Focus on the facts and avoid personal attacks. Hopefully, by voicing your fnaf game concerns, you can contribute to a positive change in Reolink's customer service approach.

                            It sounds like you’ve had a frustrating experience with Reolink’s approach to customer interactions and their advertising practices.
