Hi, I decided to update the app from version 8.5.2 to the latest. Everything worked fine on the old version. After updating to the new version of the app 8.15.6, the video from the camera stream stopped being displayed. Everything works fine on mobile apps. Only on windows 10, videos from the stream are not displayed and videos from the recording cannot be played either. A timeline appears and when I select the section on it that I want to play, the "play" icon appears in the middle of the video and disappears again. Don't you know how to solve this problem? Thanks for the answers

@smarticek_594824045961254 Try disabling hardware acceleration first from main menu.

If this fails then try to install the directX redist (June 2010).

If you have more than one video drivers, try to disable them and enable the default one.

@joseph_1979 Hi, thanks for the advice. I tried turning off HW decoding right away, but it didn't help what I watched, so I also have the current version of DX, but I still downloaded the redist and it didn't help either. As I wrote below, it only happens if I move the mouse to the area where the video should be displayed. As long as the mouse is outside the video area, I can see the video from the stream and from the recording. There was no problem with version 8.5.2, that's why I had it for so long, because when the newer version from 8.5.2 came out, I had the same problem and I kept that version until there was a fix. I thought it was an app bug. And now after a long time I decided to update to the latest version and it still doesn't work. So the problem will not be in the app. I have a GTX 1050Ti GPU. with the current driver. I don't know what to try anymore. I assume that installing all versions of .net frameworks won't have an effect either 🙂

@smarticek_594824045961254 Can you disable the Nvidia and Intel HD video drivers and allow only the default one? Just for a test. And try to install the 8.11.0 and check it out.

@joseph_1979 Ok done. I uninstalled the NVidia driver. I restarted the PC and tried to install the app version 8.11.0. Everything was OK. I tried to reinstall the app gradually to versions 8.12.0 -> 8.12.1 -> 8.14.0. Neither of them worked, so only the 8.11.0 one worked correctly for me. I left it installed here. I installed the NVidia driver and everything is ok again only with version 8.11.0. It looks like the errors are in the app on versions 8.12.0 and higher. So it can be said that the problem was solved thanks to you by installing an older app. But that would mean that I can't update the app again because it wouldn't work? 😕

@smarticek_594824045961254 Now you need to take it up with support and tell them what you really did. And they should know what they added since the 8.11.0 version. Email them at support @ reolink . com (remove spaces as site won't allow me to include URLs and email addresses.

I will add that it only happens when I move the mouse into the area where the video is supposed to run. When I launch the app and the mouse is outside the video area, the stream shows the shot from the camera.
