Absolutely rubbish product. If you have any trees in vision it sends notifications with moving leaves and shadows. You can adjust the sensitivity but then you receive no notifications.
The vision quality is fine but avoid if you have any trees in vision.

If you turn off PIR, camera won't detect anything.

@user_789384361566395_789384361566395 I have the same problem with the rubbish product of Argus 3 pro, please if you read that, never buy Reolink product :

1. The application on smartphone is really bad and really slow.
2. The camera record detection work sometime and sometime not it's completely random!

I disables the poor PIR option otherwise it's record every second if a leave or a branch move, I have just humain and pet detection to 100 sensivity BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. On live stream I can see the camera detect a personne with the icon BUT IT DOESN'T LAUNCH THE RECORD WTF!!! but if I move very close to the camera it's record WTF!!!=??===
And the worst part is the application ON MENU TO NON-DETECTION ZONE, YOU CAN'T PAINT A NON DETECTION zone FOR "OTHER" so for the branche or grass for example YOU CAN'T MAKE A ZONE FOR NON DETECTION WTF!!!!!!

@user_794435485679778_794435485679778 Maybe you need to upgrade the fw. I have a non destrction zone for each object type as illustrated below.



If you disable PIR then the camera would detect any object. PIR should be enabled and it can a range of max 10m when the sensitivity is at the highest (under PIR). And detection is immediate when you cross the segments of the IR rather than moving towards PIR. See segments of a typical PIR. Once triggered it will start the application to identify the object and start recording. So it takes some time between triggering and recording.......if the object moves fast then there is a probability of being missed out. That's why dc powered/poe cams are the nest as they are continuously recording and you can have a 10s recording before the detection of the object.
