      Hello,
I am currently setting up my 411WS for webcam and security use. The setup was a breeze so far and I'm already uploading jpg files at a constant interval. However, to use my webcam images in my website, I need a constant file that always contains the latest file and that my script picks up.

Can I change the settings so that the cam uploads the same file name all the time and overwrites the old file? I cannot run cronjobs to clean up all those images that would remain stored as my ISP doesn't allow that.

      Thanks for your help!

      Regards
      Chris

        Hi Chris,
Sorry to tell you that it's not supported to upload the picture with the same file name. It's not customizable with the file name.

It's truly disappointing that your device doesn't offer the most basic of webcam functions. If no solution comes up, I'll have to return the 411WS and settle for something optically less sophisticated like Ubiquiti.

          Thanks for your help.

          Regards
          Chris
