WhatApp integration - Send the videos to a WhatApp group

I'm curious if anyone has successfully integrated Reolink cameras with WhatsApp. I'm looking to connect my cameras and engage my community by automatically sending video alerts to a designated WhatsApp group whenever motion is detected. If anyone has accomplished this, I'd greatly appreciate any tips or advice you could share!

@securinet Never heard of anyone asking for such an integration. Maybe you can send an email to an application which can send it to whatsapp. But Whatsapp is an end to end application and need a whatsapp client at both endpoints.

What I suggest you is to have a common email account (eg gmail) and send the Email alert with picture from the camera to this common email account. Add this email to your smartphone email account.

Alternatively send the email with picture to pushover and use pushover group feature to send it to all members within the group.

@joseph_1979 Thank you for responding to my post. I've already tackled that, but it's quite labor-intensive as it involves manual steps. I'm curious if there's a cloud API available to seamlessly integrate REOLINK CLOUD with the WhatsApp API, enabling full automation..

@joseph_1979 Argus Eco wont' send videos to email just the picture that defeats the purpose of sending the email with attachment while using the cloud subscription the camera will push the videos to REOLINK's cloud storage. @securinet That's because you have a battery operated cam as otherwise it is possible to send email with video.

@joseph_1979 This is something I have been doing for a couple of years now using gmail. Works well, as long as you remove old emails to keep max gmail storage space under limits. This is not to difficult to do by bulk select and delete in gmail.

I use separate gmail accounts for Sender and Recipient addresses as using the same one for both would double the emails on the one account.
