The focus performance on the PTZ is subpar and when setting up multiple locations, at varying focal lengths in a cruise path, the slow focus has an impact on the effectiveness of the camera. The camera tends to focus hunt back and forth over optimal focus and finally locking in. This is apparent during the day and gets really bad at night, sometimes never actually locking on to focus. Please add the following to step the PTZ up to the next level.1. Option to disable Auto Focus2. Save manual focus point in the cruise path. This will allow the user to zoom in , manually focus the scene and then save the location. The camera already remembers the location and zoom so you just need to now save the manual focus location. This will vastly improve the performance of the PTZ and Cruise Path feature.
I will forward this request to our R&D team. They will discuss those requests from users in routine meetings. Your request could probably be adopted and implemented in future products/software updates.

https://youtu.be/82fhavLXKWIIf you disable auto-focus and have memory preset focus points that are set manually during cruise setup, it will be a much more efficient PTZ. Focus motor will go to memorize focus position and your done. Zero focus hunting and no failed focus.
