I've noticed that when I'm at home, my Android mobile app, Mac App, etc all connect to the camera feeds by local 192.x.x.x IP address, which results in a very snappy connection etc. However, when connecting to my cameras from outside my LAN, the connection seems to be routed through an Amazon EC2 server somewhere in lieu of connecting to my cameras directly through my router/firewall. Is there a way to configure my cameras/router/firewall to connect directly? I've noticed a SIGNIFICANT speed/performance/connection difference when connecting to the cameras from (outside vs inside) or (outside vs outside via vpn which is also fast). Thanks for your clarification.- Brian
Hi Brian,There does exists a way-by DDNS. Please follow this guide to set up and connect to the camera bypass our server-https://reolink.com/faq/how-to-remotely-access-reolink-products-if-uid-does-not-work/
