    Setting up PC client, help please

      All I can get is NVR password error.
      I am inserting the correct user name and password.
      I don't want to reset password by taking the cover off of the NVR as in the instructions for "forgot password"
      I've had the same password for a long time but when I had to setup my new computer, I can't get the PC client to work.
      The NVR hooked up to it's own monitor is no problem and works fine.
      I want to use the PC client out in my workshop to monitor the cameras, also, I can't get it to setup on a Samsung tablet either.
      Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thank You

        i get the same thing with the pc client.i've deleted it and reinstalled it at least three times...same issue

        no matter what i do....."password error"...and i don't see any place to log in again.

        i'm almost sorry i bought this thing. argh!!

        and, i updated my NVR but when i try to update the cameras...."update failed" every time.

          On the NVR that is hooked up to the monitor, if you log out and try to log in again with the password that you thought as the correct one, will you be able to log in? If you can, go to the Menu and modify the password. Then log on to the NVR on computer or your tablet using the new correct password.

          Can you please provide a screenshot of the error message? Not sure about if it is password error to log on to the software or to the NVR itself. Note that the software can be set to be secured with a password. Also, you are always welcomed to talk to our Support agents to get timely help.
