Go Ranger PT and SMS

I own a 'Go Ranger PT' trail camera that works with a 4G network. Many operators tend to send information about their subscription, or various offers, via SMS. It would be really useful if the camera had some function to read the received SMS. Even better if the SMS were forwarded directly to the app on your device.

@mrspock75_889662031028381 Why don't you ask your mobile operator to forward the sms to your other MSISDN. Some operators offer sms to email conversion. So apart from the sms you receive an email.

@joseph_1979 No operator in Italy offers such a service. In any case, it would not be a real solution to the problem. For example, I recently changed the operator on the SIM I use for the trail camera, but to do so, I had to remove the SIM and put it in a smartphone because the change requires entering OTPs and clicking on links sent to the phone via SMS. Really inconvenient considering the fact that removing the SIM from the trail camera is not easy at all (you need a SIM ejector pin and a pair of tweezers), and the trail camera is already placed in the middle of nature...

Anyhow as suggested submit your request to support for consideration. For sure the programmers are not aware of this and I have never came across any cam supplier implementing this.
