Hello. I'm new to the group, but have 13 410s, Two PTZ, and one 410WS on my home system. First, I absolutely LOVE these cameras. They are the best I've ever seen, heard about, worked with, etc. My question concerns the PTZ models, the 423. I've created several points of interest, preset points. However, when I try to create a roaming list, instead of going a few feet to the next point, the camera will spin completely around (past the wall) to get to the point. This makes the automatic pattern useless because it is taking the "long route" to get there. Any suggestions? I've tried to mix up the points, make the points REALLY close, etc. and they both spin around instead of moving a few inches. Thanks!
Firstly, really appreciate your support on Reolink products! The camera RLC-423 is designed with the adjustment position, which keeps the camera patrol on its right cruise. So each path will do a circle to cover the adjustment position. For example, if you set the cruise path from A==>B==>C==>BIt will rotate as:But not as below:
So how do I create a pattern that does not spin all the way around?
Dear Josh,Sorry for that. Each cruise should cover all the way round.
So are you going to implement non-circle roaming? Kind of useless if mounted on the side of a house and 180 degree view is just of the side or your house.
Thanks for this...I was just about to start buying these cameras, but won't now due to this roaming limitation. I hope this gets resolved soon.
